We are currently hiring for the position of:
Shipping & Production Assistant
2-4 days / week

Salary: Starting $22/hr

Job Description

We're looking for someone to join our team!

This job is ideal for someone that has a creative spirit, is detail orientated and enjoys working with their hands. Need to be able to work independently as well as part of a team, and have good listening and communication skills. We value organization, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Respect and pride in the work done, as well as the environment of the studio.

Job duties may include:

  • Stamping & waxing bisque
  • Inventory tracking
  • Cleaning; mopping, shop-vac etc.
  • Taking out trash and recycling and maintaining studio cleanliness
  • Unloading kiln
  • Scrubbing finished work
  • Maintaining kiln shelves, posts and equipment
  • Mixing glazes
  • Making test tiles
  • Emptying glaze trap
  • Receiving orders
  • Quality control
  • Managing order pickups
  • Assembling orders
  • Packing fragile ceramic orders for domestic / international shipping
  • Managing shipping supply inventory
  • Managing and tracking product inventory (online and in-house)
  • Fulfilling online orders
  • Quality control
  • Organization and prioritization of orders
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and be able to work in a physically demanding environment

This is an entry level job with the opportunity for growth and advancement.

    Potential for growth into a larger position
    No ceramic experience is necessary, training will be included. 
    Days of the week are flexible. Must be available during the holidays.
